2. What is your background?
I have a long background in housing. I was a carpenter and
did some construction management for years in Oregon, and I was also a social
worker for several years. So, I decided to take my passion for homes and my
passion for people, helping people and walking them through the process, and
just put it together and decided to get into real estate.
3. What makes you a great real estate agent?
Like I said, I have a real passion for homes. It started
when I was a little kid. I love houses, I loved driving around with my mom and
my aunt, they would be in the front talking about homes, and I would be in the
back just soaking it all in. So, that has been in my blood for a long time. As
a social worker, I just love working one on one with people and seeing them get
excited about changes in their lives. Buying a home is a huge change, and I
just want to be a part of that process.
4. Why should someone work with a buyer’s agent?
It [buying a home] is a long a complicated process. Buyer’s
agents have knowledge of the market, they also have knowledge of the legal
aspects of the transaction. They can walk you through all the paperwork, and
take care of it for you, really. The most important part is to just be an
advocate for you, the buyer. You need somebody out there who is going to be
working for you diligently and caring about the process that you are entering.
