Whether you like to party with the crowd and prefer a quieter celebration and whether you’ll be hanging out with the kids this year or not, we’ve got the scoop on some of the best events happening in the greater Bothell and Kirkland area.

Celebration Lane at the Bellevue Collection
(Along the sidewalks of Bellevue Square, Bellevue Place and Lincoln Square)
Bellevue, WA 98004

Perfect for the whole family, you can celebrate the New Year all week long as Celebration Lane is performed at 7:00 p.m. each night from December 26-31, 2017. There will be dancing in the streets – literally – as costumed characters, live drummers, dazzling lights and a storm of bubbles floating down from high above. This year’s presentation features Americana-inspired dance music appropriate for all ages. Don’t come late though as the show is performed for only about 30 minutes. Free parking at Bellevue Square, Bellevue Place and Lincoln Square.

McMennamins Anderson School
18607 Bothell Way NE
Bothell, WA  98011
425-398-0122

Celebrate from 9:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. with Fastlane at Hayne’s Hall ($20-$25) or The Lowest Pair (free!) in Patty’s Room. Fastlane features dancing with all music genres and The Lowest Pair features “old-time roots influenced duet, featuring the high lonesome harmonies of banjo pickin' songsters Kendl Winter and Palmer T. Lee.” A sparkling wine midnight toast is included. Overnight packages available.

Willows Lodge
145580 NE 145 St.
Woodinville, WA 98072
425-424-2999

Willows Lodge promises a great night of fun, food, live entertainment and more to close out 2017 in style. The party begins with “heavy” hors d’oeuvres from Chef Bobby Moore from the lodge’s Barking Frog restaurant followed by lots of dancing to the music of Robbie Christmas. Party favors and a champagne toast will be held at the stroke of midnight. $100 per person. Cash bar available. For a quieter, but no less special evening, enjoy a six-course meal (paired with a selection of wines) at the Barking Frog including Mero Sea Bass, 72 hour Sous Vide Wagu Short Ribs and more. Seatings are available at 5:30 and 9:00 p.m. $150 per person.

Lucky Strike
700 Bellevue Ave. E.
Bellevue, WA 98004
425-453-5137

Lucky Strike features two big parties this year – one for the whole family and one for adults only. PowerPLay – the family New Year’s Eve Party features limited tickets sales to cut down on crowding, mascot appearances, pop up food and beverage stations, bowling lane packages, two hours of video game play, appearances by Power Patrollers, DJ Mouse and others, performances by CIRQUE performers, dancing with DJ D-Twizzle and Discobee, plus lots of noisemakers, tiaras, hats, leis and more. Do an early countdown at 9:00 p.m. watching the New York Ball Drop. Tickets at $25 per person (Kids 5 and under get in free.) Free parking. The adults-only party begins at 9:30 p.m. featuring the same entertainment plus cocktails. Tickets at $35 per person if you order ahead of time online and $40 at the door. Party through the night until 2:00 a.m. Purchase tickets here.
