Evergreen State Fair
This is the last weekend with a bonus day, Monday, to check out the carnival rides, draft-horse shows, concerts, animal exhibits, fair food and more at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe.

Bremerton Blackberry Festival
50,000 people turned up to celebrate everything blackberry last year and they are expecting another big turn out for the entertainment, arts & crafts, fun run and fly-in in at the Bremerton boardwalk.

Kittitas County Fair & Ellensburg Rodeo

Blues for Food Fest
Listen to some great music for a great cause this Saturday. 5 local blues bands will play from noon until 8 PM to benefit P-Patch Trust and Washington Blues Society musicians relief fund at Magnuson Park near Sandpointwww.bluesforfoodfest.org

Vintage Aircraft Weekend
See vintage airplanes, car, bikes, and clothing at Vintage Aircraft Weekend, which includes food, music, and rides at Everett's Paine Field. Runs from August 29-31.

Salmon Dinner
Renowned chef, Tom Douglas is serving grilled salmon with side dishes, alongside live music and a view of Puget Sound on August 31. Check out the Salmon Chanted Evening in Victor Steinbrueck Park in Downtown Seattle.

Seattle Sounders

College Football
If you've been waiting months for some football action, you could root on the UW Huskies as they take on the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors at Husky Stadium in the University District in their season opener on August 30 at 7:30.

Railroad Ride 
You can ride the Snoqualmie Valley Railroad, which is a 2.5 hour tour that showcases the lovely Snoqualmie Falls and hydroelectric power plant. This scenic tour also showcases the historic Snoqualmie Depot and museum. Other tours also available.

Ballard Locks Concert
The 25th Annual Free Summer Concerts and Events series at the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks in Ballard kicks off with the Boeing Employees Concert Band 2 p.m. Saturday! Concerts are every Saturday & Sunday all summer. Afterwards, take a tour of the garden, see the boats moving through the lock and check out peak times at the Salmon Ladder.
